Thank you for contacting the Office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond. To assist with the review process please fill in the information below to the best of your ability.

Completing the scheduling request form is required to determine availability but does not guarantee your event/meeting will be placed on the SSPI’s calendar. If sufficiently detailed, however, this information enables the scheduling team to maximize the number of opportunities presented to the SSPI.

We typically do not confirm meetings or events more than thirty (30) days in advance and due to the volume of requests and invitations he receives, Superintendent Thurmond is not able to accommodate all of them. Additionally, his schedule is subject to constant change as he responds to statewide Education issues that arise unexpectedly. In the event the SSPI is unable to honor a confirmed appointment, a senior staff member will take his place.
