Welcome to the California Department of Education (CDE) Nutrition Services Division Local Meal Charge Policy Resources and Best Practices online course.

By completing this course, you will learn about the resources which include California law, CDE management bulletins and web pages, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy memos and resources regarding local meal charge policies, Senate Bill 250, and best practices.

This course takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. Please allow enough time to complete the course in one sitting. You are required to complete every question, except those noted as "optional". At the end of the course, you will be asked to complete a short evaluation. You will then have access to a printable course certificate of completion for your records.
